Kakurine (カクリーン) is one of the playable characters in Evil Zone.

Story[]

Although she is over 10,000 years old, she looks, sounds and acts like a little girl. She has super transcendental powers. Kakurine wants to destroy Ihadulca, Lea's incarnation, in order to bring her childhood friend Lea back to one existence.

She has been responsible of making a doppelganger versions of other characters except Gally "Vanish" Gregman who's doppelganger version of himself was created by Keiya Tempouin. Kakurine is also knowlegable about Lea and her fragments (Like Karin as an example) and the armor Void (which Erel had equipped this for the memory of her late friend Faily the Brave). Kakurine is also knowledgable about Shahal known as the woman from the Cocytus that displays evil powers that was controlling Linedwell Rainrix.

Her story mode has her displaying her fantastic abilities as her episode title suggests that she is a very powerful priestess who wanted to testing her vast powers to her opponents. Kakurine greets Ihadulca after meeting her for 600 years then she told her to speak in her actual normal voice so that she can kill her like she did to Karin, Lea's fragment. Kakurine finally speaks in her normal voice since it was her true purpose to kill all of Lea's incarnations including her and she was running out of time. It was revealed despite her powerful prowess, her life was too short knowing that she was dying. Ihadulca states that she hasn't changed and she likes the way she acts back then in the past. Kakurine tells her that she wants to like her one last time and her reasons of wanting to kill her.

After Ihadulca's defeat, Kakurine was weakened and soon collapses along with her and both are speaking each other before dying as both her and Ihadulca's hands are in place, showing her reconciliation with Lea.

Appearance[]

Kakurine is an elderly woman being stuck on a body of a child. She has short purple hair with distinctly curly fringes in each sides and was adorned with a red ribbon and red eyes. She has a purple mark on her forehead.

Her primary appearance has her wearing a white elaborate priestess robe with orange linings at the edge of her sleeves and the edge of her dress skirt and a red obi with yellow linings adorned with a yellow ribbon and the obi forms a large bow at the back. She also has a white kilt with orange designs at her dress and black footguards. Beneath her robe to reveal a green high-neck halter top adorned with a large gold round necklace on her neck. In-game, the orange linings of her sleeves are not seen.

Her alternate appearance, both her ribbon, obi, the mark of her forehead and a large bow at the back are blue. The design of her kilt is peach and her hair is salmon pink.

Her third costume is a traditional dress worn by priestess and the linings and kilt designs are all purple. Her hair is dark blue, her skin is pale and wearing a white priestess hat on her head.

Personality[]

Through all the character episodes, Kakurine was described in the game for being childish due to her physical appearance of a child. In reality, she was a very wise and a mature woman who is actually testing the characters' fighting abilities in order to prove themselves in defeating Ihadulca. Kakurine is also knowlegable about the incarnations of Lea that she had been destroyed as well as her fragments such as Karin who empowers all of the abilities of Setsuna Saizuki and letting Gally to battle Ihadulca for a good cause by listening to her advice. Aside from this, she is also knowlegable about the armor Void that Erel had currently worn as well as Shahal that was wielded by Lie and can sense the latter's evil plan and its threat.

In all character stories, Kakurine speaks in a childish tone and upon confronting Ihadulca or Shahal during Lie's story, she speaks in her actual normal voice with a bit old and raspy tone.

Gameplay[]

Kakurine is one of the most powerful characters along with Ihadulca who is Lea's incarnation. Most of her moves sometimes using teleportation to deceive and distract the enemy as her grappling move and to ensnare her opponent by forming an angelic halo and pushes them away using telekinesis. Kakurine also can use a paper voodoo to control her opponent as one of her capture moves. Her most dangrous ability is her finisher which she drains the opponents' energy to deal heavy damage since her life force is getting short as revealed in her confrontation with Ihadulca.
